It was a VERY exciting last couple of days here in Chapel Hill! The UNC Tar Heels made it to the championship game of the NCAA Tournament!! A group of us went to the Dean Dome to watch the excitement on the big screen with thousands of other fellow Tar Heels! They played Michigan State and pretty much dominated! (I think I may have helped out a little by finding these earlier that day ; )
After the game, a bunch of people rushed the floor of the stadium then we all rushed Franklin Street--it's tradition after a Tar Heel win! This was my first Franklin Street experience...it was pretty crazy with people jumping fires and climbing street light poles and ripping down street signs! And I have to admit I was scared for my life a few times...especially when the fat guy was trying to get on the roof of Starbucks but failed miserably...wow.
